Mar 16, 2024

With the theme ``The role of young women in the process of economic diversification'', the 1st Annual Conference of Women Entrepreneurs took place on 16 March at the Belas Conference Centre, an event organized by the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola (ANJE).

At this first meeting, the Association brought together more than 2,000 entrepreneurs where they were able to share their experiences and discuss the challenges of entrepreneurship in Angola and how to take advantage of opportunities to generate wealth and development.

Angolan businesswomen Tunísia Sebastião and Nadir Tati were among the speakers, who also included businesswomen from Mozambique, China, Portugal, Brazil and South Africa.

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of Banco Keve's Executive Director, Efigénia Tonha, who, among other things, spoke about the Bank's commitment to supporting national entrepreneurship, especially initiatives led by women.

It was a unique opportunity to share with the audience specific products to support these initiatives, such as the Muhatu Package, the largest financial solution that supports women entrepreneurs.

ANJE Angola is an NGO whose core objective is to empower the national youth business community with the aim of increasing national production indicators, reducing the unemployment rate and generating more jobs.
